  Possibly nicest pub in Sydney with possibly the worst staff. Staff are unhelpful and appear lost behind the bar. They haven’t been trained properly and lack basic skills in customer service. The below is not a pint of coke - it’s a pint of Guinness and is a perfect reflection of the customer service received! This place could be an awesome pub but those running it need a change of attitude.

  What an awesome local pub, very much reminds me of an inner city pub in London. Nicely poured pint of Guinness and Sunday lunch, which was fantastic (and massive). Service is great, very friendly. Venue has a good amount of space, really nice fit out (London pub vibes).

  Great food and service, can be a little busy at peak times but to be expected. The food here is a real stand out!

  Signature / almost Heritage established Pub. Tight space to all floors, tight staircases for circulation, an old building.
  
  Reasonable food and wines / alcohol.
  
  Wish that they can invest a generous budget to conduct a presentable Renovation and truly Cleanup each and every corner of their Interiors and Amenities.
  
  Windows should be opened in dry weather for a Thorough Natural Ventilation at all times.
  
  Services is normal, just pub services like other pubs.

  Oh so disappointed. Came a few months ago for a roast and it was great, however today not the same story. Staff are not hospitable in the slightest - nice but lack the basic training on how to make a good experience. My friend is a coeliac and wanted to ensure the roast was gluten free, it came but had the Yorkshire pud on it, so she had to double check, the waitress said she thinks it is and that was it. Then my friend instantly had a bad stomach where she knows she’s eaten gluten. I know times are hard with staff at the moment but just some basic training doesn’t go a miss especially when allergies are involved. Also food was really dry and not great! Such a shame cos it’s such a nice pub.
